It's celebration time in Tanzania where the 45th anniversary of the union between Zanzibar and Tanganyika reaches its climax today.
The union has had its fair share of turmoil and some have been disappointed feeling it has not met their expectations for prosperity.
Others have felt the marriage has failed to give people from both sides equal opportunities.
The future of the union is however in the youth, so our reporter John Ngahyoma went along to a government owned primary school in the country's commercial capital Dar es Salaam to gauge feelings.
