Zimbabwe's top law man Johannes Tomana is not one to shy away from controversy, only recently he publicly declared his support for the ruling Zanu-PF party.
He was in the news again when the opposition MDC demanded he resign doubting his impartiality.
And just two days ago, Zimbabwean Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai accused the attorney general of blocking the release of detained political and rights activists despite an approval from President Robert Mugabe for their release.
Presently, some 40 opposition and human rights activists, including Tsvangirai's MDC party ministerial nominee Roy Bennett are being held in Zimbabwean jails.
Zimbabwean Journalist Brian Hungwe spoke to Mr Tomana.
