The Africa Today team is travelling around Ghana's ten regions, exploring the issues on voters' minds and speaking to the candidates about what they have to offer.
Uduak Amimo and Pete Lewenstein are reporting from the southern portion of the country in the poll run-up.
They have reached Kumasi in Ghana's most populous region - Ashanti.
Pete Lewenstein got Yao Doe-Tamakloe, Ashanti Regional Secretary of the opposition NDC and Sam Cudjoe, Ashanti Regional Secretary of the governing NPP together to discuss their respective parties election pledges to the business community.
