Hassan Arouni reports from The Hague
Charles Taylor is facing 11 count charges including crimes against humanity for his alleged role in the civil war in Sierra Leone.
He has pleaded not guilty at his trial at the special court for Sierra Leone being held in The Hague in the Netherlands.
Moses Blah was vice president under former Liberian leader, Charles Taylor.
He became caretaker president for two months in 2003, after his boss was forced into exile.
What is his importance?
Moses Blah is the highest ranking witness so far and when he made his appearance he didn't seem to be holding much back.
Charles Taylor's links with foreign rebels in the west African region make up Blah's second day of testimony.
Our correspondent Hassan Arouni spoke to Alpha Sesay of The Open Society Justice Initiative, who was in court to hear the defence's cross examination of Moses Blah.

During the cross-examination, Charles Taylor's defence team challenged Mr Blah's credibility as a witness for the prosecution.
