The award is for the junior street warden category. In a very competitive category the Swindon nomination stood out for the hard work and commitment of all those involved. Brian Ford, Lead member for Community Safety says he is impressed with the tremendous amount of hard work the Junior Street Wardens undertake. He said: "This award recognises the enthusiasm and hard work these young people are putting in to make the area were they live, a cleaner and safer place for all.
