The White Horse Theatre Company are back treading the boards again for their spring production, The Late Mrs Early.

The play, a comedy written by Norman Robbins, is based in Castleford in the 70s.

It tells the story of young love between opposing families, with the warning issued by one of the mothers, that the marriage should go ahead over her dead body.

The inevitable happens and she comes back to attempt to stop the wedding.

The White Horse Theatre Company is a locally-based amateur dramatics company with members coming from various West Wiltshire towns.

Recent productions from the group include Kids in Control, Last Tango in Dilton Marsh and the traditional pantomine Dick Whittington.

The Late Mrs Early will be staged on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th April 2002 at The Assembly Hall, Warminster. Doors open at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £5 and are available from both Westbury and Warminster Tourist Information Centres, or by telephoning 01373 303763.

The same number can be used if you want to find out more information about the group - either acting/singing or behind-the-scenes.
