Listen to our interview and view a gallery. There's something of a 90s revival taking place as hit television show Gladiators is being reimagined for the 21st Century. The game show - once a staple of Saturday teatime viewing on ITV - ran from 1992-2000. But now, after an eight-year lay-off, the series is set to return to UK television screens next month on Sky One. The show which pits members of the public against professional athletes dubbed 'Gladiators' and given heroic-sounding stage names is to feature a whole host of new regular contenders.  Lucy (far left) and her fellow Gladiators And one of the members of the new line-up hails from here in Wiltshire. 19-year-old Lucy Boggis from Stanton St Quintin near Malmesbury has been signed to appear as 'Tempest'. Lucy, who last year was named as one of the top four heptathletes in the country already has numerous gold medals to her name and hopes to win a place in the London Olympics in 2012. On landing a place in the show, Lucy said: "When they told me I was crying. It was like a massive dream. "My whole family would sit down and watch it when I was younger, I've always loved it, so becoming a Gladiator is insane!" Tory Maurice and Nicki Thompson of Live Tonight on BBC Radio Wiltshire recently spoke to Lucy about joining the show.
