Mid Wales, Fine Art and the Eden Project

This week we're in Newtown for the first ever Spotlight Mid-Wales. Businesses and organisations got together for a discussion on the region's achievements, and how to develop the economy at a difficult time.

The keynote speaker was Tim Smit, the man who founded the Eden Project. We spoke to him about the parallels between the economies of Cornwall and Mid-Wales and how the region's perceived disadvantages could actually work in its favour.

We've also been to visit Castle Fine Arts Foundry, a company which has produced some of the most high profile sculptures of recent years from its plant in the village of Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant.
