Showing some steel

It was one of the industries hardest hit by the recession, with order books all but drying up and the threat of job losses looming large. But the steel industry in Wales did weather the storm, and in this special Wales@work Corus boss Uday Chaturvedi reveals how.

Wales at Work, Tuesday 18 May, 6.30 PM

The managing director of the Corus plants in Port Talbot and Llanwern has given exclusive access to Stephen Evans, former BBC industrial correspondent and one-time summer holiday worker at the Port Talbot plant.

Chaturvedi describes how he and his team of 5,000 pulled the plant around from a point where it was losing £1 million a day.
