Apprentices, pies and alcohol.

Nick Servini and guests discuss the latest issues in the business world in Wales.

Last updated: 07 February 2011

This week is the start of apprenticeship week and so Wales@Work visits civil engineering company Jones Bros in Ruthin to see how it is investing in it's future workforce; and Nick Servini chats to The Apprentice star Karen Brady about the importance of apprenticeship schemes for small businesses.

Our business of the week is Peter's Pies. We talk to managing director Mike Grimwood about the future of the company and meet it's resident pieologist.

The Government is proposing to set a minimum of 38 pence per can of lager and £10.71 for a bottle of vodka. What are the concerns and how will the minimum pricing affect Welsh pubs and brewers?
