Health and safety, good, mad or bad?

Health and safety has gone mad is the phrase we are hearing over and over again these days.

Stories about a Welsh school banning swimming goggles and one company insisting on their staff reverse parking in the work's car park are just a few to hit the headlines in recent months.

But is this the reality?

Are businesses in Wales aware of the real dangers of not taking health and safety seriously?

Or has this all gone over the top? Are businesses petrified of falling foul of health and safety laws? And what about insurance companies - are they pushing the cautious agenda more than anyone else?
