The Latest update from Wales@work

Women Inventors

Female inventors from across the UK will gather in a city centre hotel this week to show off their innovations and Wales@Work is going to be there.

The International British Female Inventors & Innovators Network Showcase and Awards will also decide who will be crowned the best British female inventor.

But what kind of support is there enough for people who get that big idea?

Welsh inventors are fortunate as the Welsh Assembly Government offers advice and some financial help through the Wales Innovators Network. But is it enough?

Why do we need women only awards? Are women more successful with inventions than men?

Wales@Work visits the awards and asks some Welsh inventors how they made their big idea come to life.
