The Latest update from Wales@work

Virtual Working

The era of low cost telecommunications is changing the way we work.

Nowadays you can have a virtual secretary. You can even have a virtual nurse.

Figures released in Work Wise Week show 160,000 people in Wales now work from home via the internet - and the numbers are rising.

Wales@Work looks at whether the internet is now finally removing the need to go into the office every day.

Does it really improve your work life balance by helping you avoid the daily commute or is being given a laptop by your boss a blessing or a curse?

And just how good is the broadband coverage across Wales?
