The Business Doctor

Another chance to hear The Business Doctor Paul Thomas as he tackles managers at Blaenau Gwent Council.

Dr Paul Thomas says every workplace would be better off without any managers. But is that really true in local government? Or can it only work in private businesses?

Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council chief executive Robin Morrison says wants to see the authority providing a better service with its limited cash. And he's asked Paul to help them do it.

Will Paul be able to convince the council's managers that the authority's 4,500 workers hold the key to improving services?
