Redundancy

Redundancy is a word you can't seem to escape from these days.
Unemployment in Wales now stands at a hundred thousand for the first time in a decade. Last week alone 1200 manufacturing job losses were announced. It all means that redundancy is now something being faced by thousands of people across the country.

Tonight on Wales at Work (11 March 2009) we're asking what it feels like to be laid off, what it feels like to be the one making the redundancies and what are the processes companies should follow when they lay staff off.
