The Latest update from Wales@work
Sterling slump
Like the UK economy, the British Pound has taken a battering in the past few months, with the value of sterling falling by 25 per cent.
Sounds like bad news - but is it?
Some say this is great for Welsh business, especially our exporters who've seen their goods become much more competative.
It could be good news for the Welsh tourism industry too if UK holidaymakers stay home this summer and overseas visitors are encouraged here by the weak pound.
But there are losers. Retailers who import goods will be paying more.
Some say now is the time to join the Euro to make sure we don't have such fluctuations in the future.
Wales@Works looks at the winners and losers in the great Sterling swing and how Welsh business can profit from the tumbling pound.
