A nation of entrepreneurs?

What's your idea of an entrepreneur?

Is it someone like Sir Alan Sugar - self-made, with a string of businesses under his belt, and in a position to do the hiring and firing?

Or those men and women who brave the panel in Dragons' Den armed with an idea they're convinced is a money-spinning winner, if only someone would recognise its potential and invest.

Well a new report aims to lay bare the true extent of entrepreneurship in Wales. The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Report for Wales 2007 looks at issues including the types of business most likely to be set up here, who's behind them, and what their motivation is.

So just how much of an entrepreneurial spirit is there in Wales? And are we doing enough to foster it?
