Welsh identity

If you run a business based in Wales and you want to export overseas, what's your best marketing tool? Is it the fact you're Welsh? Or will people in your chosen market just wonder where that is?

As a consumer, are you more likely to buy a product or use a service if it's 'Made in Wales'?

Is Welsh business doing enough to promote its roots - and is that even a good thing in the first place?

Take Ireland or Scotland - we can all think instantly of products and companies which are firmly linked with those countries.

But is it the same for Wales? Or is it just rugby fans who can point us out on a map? Last week minister for the economy and transport, Ieuan Wyn Jones, led a trade mission to the USA. So is this the best way to sell ourselves overseas?

And if you wanted to start exporting, what help would be out there for you? Would you know where to turn?
