A Nation of Shopworkers?

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? Where are you going to do yours this year - your local high street, or your nearest city centre? Or are you staying at home and doing it all online?

Well the choice is ever growing, with more and more retail developments springing up or being planned around Wales.

So what's driving this boom in retail? With disposable income being increasingly squeezed, and borrowing becoming more difficult, can the economy really sustain so many shops? What about the jobs these new developments create?

Wales@work looks at whether we're becoming a nation of shoppers - and shopworkers.
