Comprehensive Spending Review

It's a big day for the economy, with the Chancellor, Alistair Darling, presenting the Pre-Budget Report as well as the Comprehensive Spending Review.

It's a combination of two big Parliamentary financial statements, spelling out spending, borrowing and taxation plans and projected economic growth.

So what exactly will the Chancellor have to say? Well, there's speculation that Mr Darling will downgrade the Government's economic forecast for next year.

We'll know more about the extent of Government borrowing and about public spending. We may also get some tax changes.

So what will these two major reports mean for the economy as a whole, for businesses, and for workers? Nick Servini and guests discuss the implications.
