The Royal Welsh Show

It's that time of year again - the Royal Welsh Show - and the Wales@Work team joined the crowds braving the rain at the showground in Llanelwedd.

Earlier this month the National Farmers' Union launched a new report it hoped would help attract young people to jobs in agriculture. The union says youngsters should look to the countryside to see how it can give them the career of their dreams.

So are enough young people choosing it as a career path? Why does the union feel it needs to campaign to get more people interested in a rural job? And what does the future hold for those who are going into farming or an allied occupation?

Sarah Dickins and guests discuss the future of employment in the countryside.

Wales@Work, Tuesday 24 July at 6.30pm, repeated Sunday 29 July at 7am.
