Working hard, or hardly working?

When your bosses think you're working hard, is it because you've worked lots of hours or because you've achieved a lot? Do you leave when the clock says so or when you've finished the job? Would you like it to change?

This week is Work Wise Week, with employers and unions getting together to encourage smarter working practices.

But what is 'smarter' working? It could mean working somewhere other than your office, or just working outside of your normal nine to five.

Well it might sound ideal but does it have its drawbacks? Perhaps you work from home and find it lonely - or even more stressful, because you can't tell when work stops and home life begins?

Join Sarah Dickins for Wales@Work as we hear find out how we might be working in the future. Wales@Work Tuesday 22 May at 6.32pm and repeated Sunday 27 May at 7.03am on BBC Radio Wales.
