Adam's guests cover the whole gamut of science, from astonomy to zoology:

Dr. Edward Gomez is the Cardiff-based Director of Education for the Las Cumbres Observatory Global Telescope Network. He chooses two stories which have rocked physics: the possible first glimpse of the Higgs Boson and faster-than-light neutrinos. He also looks back at the Space Shuttle's final mission;

Dr. Lorraine Whitmarsh is a lecturer in psychology at Cardiff University. She specialises in public perceptions of climate change. She discusses attitudes to nuclear energy in the wake of the Fukushima accident and the latest research on climate change scepticism;

Julian Carter is Senior Conservation Officer at the National Museum Wales. He considers the selection of Marine Conservation Zones around the Welsh coast and the new technology that's producing incredibly detailed images of fossils.

And a Happy Christmas to all our listeners!
