This week, as we count down the last few shopping days before Christmas, we've asked three scientists to each choose a favourite popular science book.

Producer Jeremy Grange stands in for a poorly Adam Walton this week. Jeremy is joined by biochemist Dr. Anna Croft from Bangor University; Dr. Jana Horak, Head of Mineralogy and Petrology at the National Museum Wales and computer scientist Dr. Tom Crick from Cardiff Metropolitan University as they discuss their favourite science books.
Anna's choice is The Left Hand of the Electron, a collection of essays by the godfather of science fiction Isaac Asimov;
Jana selects The Dating Game: One Man's Search for the Age of the Earthby Cherry Lewis(Cambridge University Press);
Tom chooses a graphic novel about the life of the Welsh philosopher and mathematician Bertrand Russell. It's called Logicomix - An Epic Search for Truth by Apostolos Doxiadis and Christos Papadimitriou (Bloomsbury)
