Adam Walton dips into the programme of this year's Wrexham Science Festival and gives us a taster of some of the events.

Dr Austin from the "Zombie Institute of Theoretical Studies" explains the real science behind the fictional zombie.

Glyndwr University's Professor Peter Excell takes us back in time with the story of radio waves. He presents "Radio Waves: The Amazing Technology Which Changed The World And Keeps Doing So" at the festival.

Self confessed craze seeker and extreme sports fan Huw James explains the science behind such sports as free-running, rock-climbing, surfing and cycling, ahead of his appearance at the festival, where he presents "The Science Junkie LIVE Show"

Dr Michael Graham, Head of Sport & Exercise Science at Glyndwr talks to Adam about performance enhancing drugs, and why athletes are tempted to use them. He'll be exploring the subject further in his festival talk "Testing Negative In The 2012 Olympics In London"

Adam also meets Emma Broad of Wrexham Biodiversity Group who explains the wide variety of flora and fauna that can be found in Wrexham.
