Siân Pari Huws presents a special edition of the programme to mark International Womens Day. Bangor's first science festival kicks off on Friday 11th March, for ten days of events aimed at children, families and science students. The festival includes the Women In Science Conference, which will bring in science professionals to advise women working in science in the University and those interested in supporting women's careers in these areas.

Siân is joined in the studio by Professor Siân Hope, Executive Director Of Innovation at Bangor University, who is chairing the conference.
Dr Anna Croft who is a biological chemist at Bangor
Professor Averil MacDonald, Professor of Science Communication at Reading University, who will be a guest at the conference.
We'll also be hearing from Bethan Wyn Jones who is giving a talk at the festival about the medicinal properties of plants and the strong oral tradition in Wales of passing on wisdom about useful plants down the generations.
