This week Science Cafe is devoted entirely to the work and views of a remarkable Welsh scientist - Prof Steve Jones.

Aberystwyth-born Prof Jones is one of the UK's leading biologist and science communicators. He is the author of many best-selling books on genetics and evolution including, most recently, Darwin's Island.

As Professor of Genetics at University College London he describes his role as 'making sex boring'. But most of us would agree that his research is anything but.

As part of Cardiff University's Darwin 200 celebrations he's giving a public lecture on Tuesday, October 20th, called 'Is Human Evolution Over'. He gives part of his argument on why it might be to presenter Adam Walton.
