This Friday, 23rd October will be Dame Shirley Day on BBC Radio Wales: a celebration of her music and what it means to us here in Wales.
The day will culminate with Dame Shirley Bassey's headline performance at the BBC Electric Proms, live on the Evening Show from the Roundhouse in London. Dame Shirley will be performing with the BBC Concert Orchestra, arranged by James Bond composer David Arnold. The concert will celebrate 50 years of hits as well as new songs from her forthcoming album, The Performance.
Dame Shirley Day wouldn't be the same without your contributions. Are you a lifelong fan? Perhaps one of her songs hold special memories for you, or you may even have met the great lady herself. Whatever your story, we'd like to hear from you.
