How clean are our wards?

Going in to hospital is a precarious business. You can go in to recover from an illness and come out with something far worse.

First broadcast on Monday 2 June, 6.30pm

Infections such as Ecoli, MRSA and Clostridium Difficile are a major problem facing our health service.

Eye on Wales hosts a special debate to look at what can be done to make our hospitals safe places. BBC Wales' health correspondent Hywel Griffith chairs a panel of politicians, patients' representatives, and frontline staff.

Tonight's Eye On Wales is part of a special double bill on hospital infections. Week In Week Out goes undercover at 7.30pm on BBC One Wales to reveal devastating rates of infections we were never meant to see.
