Eye On Wales: Monday 19 February

Steering a debate

Monday 19 February at 6.03pm
(repeated Sunday 25 February at 6.31am)

As London extends its congestion charge zone and opponents of road pricing swamp the Downing Street website, Eye on Wales adds its voice to the transport debate.

In a special live discussion Peter Johnson and guests will be exploring if there's a Welsh way ahead when it comes to tackling our transport problems.

Would congestion charging work in Wales' bigger towns and cities?

Could the National Assembly opt-out of any road pricing schemes that might emerge from Westminster?

Should the emphasis really be on improving public transport?

With contributions from politicians and policy experts, motorist and business organisations, Peter Johnson investigates.
