Eye On Wales: Monday 5 February

In eight weeks' time, Wales' public spaces will be smoke free because a ban on smoking in public places comes into force on Monday 2 April.

Last week, the Welsh Assembly Government put the final rubber stamp on the regulations for the ban, covering everything from pubs and clubs, to taxis and bingo halls.

With many businesses hoping to provide facilities and shelters for their smokers, some say the date of the ban has been rushed in and therefore doesn't give Welsh workplaces and local authorities the opportunity to get ready.

This week, Eye on Wales examines the smoking ban and asks will we in Wales be ready to get rid of cigarette smoke in public places, or has the push to get the law in early meant that, for some, it will be unenforceable?
