Blaeneinion is an idyllic and secluded conservation project, set in 75 acres of land at the head of the Artists Valley near Machynlleth in Mid Wales. Permaculture is at the heart of it and the recent introduction of two female European beavers has caused a bit of a stir. But undeterred Sharon Girardi the project manager is herself beavering away, planting trees with the help of Wwoofers, working towards a sustainable future.
