Fareshare Cymru say that every year about 40,000 tonnes of good food is dumped from the food industry in Wales and good part of that is edible. So their aim is to solve reduce the waste that the industry creates and divert the food to disadvantaged people who could benefit from eating it. Fareshare Uk is a growing movement and the depot in Cardiff is just setting up - it will be officially opened later this month by the Environment Minister, John Griffiths as part of the Welsh Government's Zero Waste strategy.

Rachael James joins the Fareshare Cymru team to collect some surplus Moussaka from Tillery Valley and redistribute some much needed food goods to the homelessness charity Huggard .
