Landscape and Literature

Another chance to hear ......Just how has our diverse and beautiful landscape influenced writers in Wales?

Last updated: 01 January 2012

Country Focus - Sunday 1st January @ 0800; presented by Rachael Garside and repeated Tuesday 3rd January at 0630

The mountains of Trawsfynnydd, the Olchon Valley in south east Wales and the industrial heartland of the Rhymney Valley are just some of the places that have inspired great works of literature. Now there's an opportunity to travel on a literary tour of Wales discovering how the Welsh landscape has inspired writers and poets alike. Rachael Garside takes a walk in the Olchon Valley with writer Owen Sheers.

Originally broadcast last June this is another chance to hear this programme.

And we'd like to wish all our Country Focus listeners a Happy New Year!
