O (Welsh) Christmas tree....

Join us for a festive Country Focus as we take a look at the Christmas tree

Last updated: 12 December 2010

Country Focus - Sunday 19th December at 07.00am presented by Rachael James; repeated 5.30am Monday 20th December 2010

What it is about a Christmas tree - is it the pine smell, the needles on the floor or just the tradition of hauling it into your living room ? Whatever it is - it has to be a real one! And in the times of great environmental change with the emphasis on local and home grown what better than a tree from one of the growers in Wales. Join Rachael James as she fetches her tree from Gower Fresh Christmas trees at Three Crosses just outside Swansea where Robert Morgan is working flat out to supply this year's yuletide essential greenery.

And a very Happy Christmas to all our Country Focus listeners!
