Last updated: 31 October 2010

Country Focus - Sunday 31st October at 07.00am presented by Rachael James. (Repeated Monday 1st November at 0530)

The National Milk Bar was founded in 1933 by a mid-Wales dairy farmer as a way to market his milk and during their heydey they enjoyed notoriety with young people - they were the place to hang out. But times have changed and over recent years the Bars have been closing down. Racheal James is in the Aberystwyth Milk Bar which closes it's doors later this year - to discuss the history of the Bars and the dairy industry today.
