Last updated: 01 August 2010
Country Focus - Sunday 1st August at 0730 ; repeated 2nd August at 0530 presented by Rachael James.
The mountains and plains of the horn of Africa may seem a long way from the rolling hills of mid-Wales but members of the UK Somali community are coming here, to learn about their traditions and cultural heritage reconnecting with their African routes on a remote hill farm in New Radnor. Rachael James visits Degmo - a settlement run by Hamish and Nell Wilson which combines rural traditions in Wales and Somalia.
