Three Welsh villages are just a few days away from learning which of them has won a prize of £400,000 to develop a project that will help to restore their community life and future prosperity. The Village SOS project is a partnership between the Big Lottery Fund and the BBC and will become a major prime time television series this winter. Throughout the UK there will be six winners - just one will come from Wales. Gilbert John has been taking an advance look at the three Welsh contenders - Talgarth, Howey and Myddfai.
