To mark Green Wales season here on BBC Radio Wales Mel Doel catches up with her energy usage at home to find out what her family's actions are doing to tackle climate change.

The Celtic Rainforest of Cwm Mynach - The Woodland Trust is part way through a campaign to raise £865K to buy what will be its largest woodland south of the Scottish border. A few weeks ago the appeal received a welcome - but controversial boost - with an unsolicited £100K donation from an unusual source.

As urban food growing and community gardening becomes all the rage once again - 'The Good Life' is back in abundance. Over the next week residents across Cardiff will be getting their hands dirty, planting fruit trees in the capital as part of Orchard Cardiff - a partnership project between the Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens and the Cardiff Transition Project.

Have you heard of Gower Noveau ? It's one of the extremely rare wines of Gower. We visit the small vineyard in the heart of the peninsula which produces just 200 bottles of wine each year.

And we're out walking with poetry - a trail has just been opened in west Wales as a tribute to the late Archdruid Dic Jones who died earlier this year. Dic lived and farmed above Aberporth in Ceredigion and drew inspiration from his land, livestock and the local scenery.
