Country Focus - Sunday 25th January at 07.30am presented by Mel Doel.
Wildlife campaigners are calling for a halt to Scallop dredging in the Cardigan Bay to protect the sensitive marine life in the area. The activity has been banned from other sites around the UK but there are now fears that it's shifting the problem around the shores.
A new research project has been launched by Bangor University to look at the deadly disease of E Coli and they need volunteers from both the general public and livestock farmers to help. The theory is that a certain immunity has been built up in the latter group.
It's farmhouse breakfast week and Mel Doel cooks up Welsh lavabread and oatmeal cakes with the help of a DVD.
And we meet the rider who enjoys shopping for local produce, on horseback, making the use of bridleways in Pembrokeshire.
