Why isn't there more about Wales on National TV. Is Wales an invisible nation? That's the allegation from a group of AM's today. Watch TV - they say and you Wales represented - and that is not acceptable. Do you agree? The BBC and ITV say they're committed to making more programmes about Wales - programmes like Gavin and Stacey are big hits - but with three million of us - and a UK population of sixty million - perhaps you think Wales is getting its fair share already? 08700 100 110
Parts of Rhyl - Cardiff - Wrexham - Swansea - and the South Wales valleys - have all been named today in a league table of the most deprived areas of Wales. Levels of unemployment, health, education the environment - they're all taken into account in the Assembly Statistics - which have changed little since last year - and the year before and the year before that. Conservatives said today it raises worrying concerns about the impact of Government money on helping deprived communities. What do you think - what would you do the help the poorest areas of Wales.
And prizes - badges - cash back- they're all reported to be being considered as incentives to get more people to vote in elections in England. They're among a raft of measures designed to get more people involved in local government. What do you think - want the chance of winning a prize persuade more people to get involved do you think. Or perhaps compulsary voting - fining people who don't vote is the only way to get the numbers up.
