Little Donkey, little Donkey...

No nativity scene would be complete without one. With it's long ears, hairy body, swishing tail and those beautiful eyes - awwh! Donkeys have been with us for ....Well, "Donkey's years"! Nowadays, we probably don't see that many of them other than the odd one in a field, but historically they've played an important, working role. Mel Doel goes in search of the donkey in Wales meeting pet owners from the Donkey Breed Society; exploring the welfare issues; the working beach donkey and looking at it's role as the star of the show at the Amelia Trust Farm, in the Vale of Glamorgan.
