An apple a day.......

Farmers across Wales gather in mid wales on Tuesday to discuss the failure to get compensation for foot and mouth, low market prices and the general crisis in the livestock industry. We assess the mood on the ground and ask - should farmers be compensated ?

Our community reporter is on the buses - as Gwynedd's Children and Young People's Partnership has launched a discounted travel scheme for 16 to 25 year olds. They're offering £1 return journey tickets on certain bus routes in Pen Llŷn and Porthmadog to try to encourage youngsters to use local facilities like cinemas and leisure centres.

And its apple day and we meet John and Margaret Morris who have this year taken over three orchards - near Crickhowell, in Powys. They're producing more than 30 different single variety juices as a diversification from their farming and self catering business.
