Wales' sea mammals

The waters around Wales are rich with marine life - so rich in fact we can't always be sure what is out there. But it's charities like the Seawatch Foundation that are based in Newquay that are busy surveying the dolpins, porpoises and whales that we have in the Cardigan Bay.

Recent funding has provided the opportunity to take school children and college groups out to discover and learn about the whales and dolphins that live off or visit the Welsh coast.

And if you can't get there to see them for yourself you can always Adopt A Dolphin.
