ROYAL WELSH AGRICULTURAL SHOW

The highlight in Wales' agricultural calender. Radio Wales is at the Royal Welsh all week, starting with Country Focus on Sunday morning.

With our wellies and brollies at the ready, Country focus is at the Royal Welsh Agricultural show. Presenter, Melanie Doel turns judge this year as she judges cheeses. We meet some young competitors in the produce section and follow some more seasoned ones through the poultry section. Our rural affairs correspondent takes stock in the stables and no programme would be complete without breakfast.

The answer to our competition was "It always rains in Sennybridge" and the winners were Mal Bowen, from Blackwood; Mrs J Benger, from Carmarthenshire; Stephen Francis, from Swansea; Graham Davies, from Cardiff; Ceri James, Brecon; G.M.Meredith, Goytre; Mary Powell, Brecon and Enid Perris, Cardiff.

Congratulations to you all - each will receive a copy of Vet, Robin Baldwin's book "The Heart of Poetry".
