Youth Hostel closures
Country Focus is presented this week by Gilbert John.
The Youth Hostel Association is undergoing a reorganisation which has meant a number of closures across Wales. But not all the proposals and closures have been welcomed and they've reckoned without the hostellers themselves.
In the heart of the isolated beauty of the Cambrian mountains, a trust has been set up of like-minded people determined to keep open three hostels, threatened with closure.
The Elenydd Wilderness Trust is determined to keep at least two of the three open and running as hostels, as the last one, Dolgoch, goes up for sale.
