This week Melanie Doel visits Coleg Sir Gar to find out what the farmers of the future are learning about, and why there are still young people keen to enter this perilous industry.

Farming maybe blessed with mixed fortunes, but it seems there are still people eager to get into and pursue a career in the industry.

For over half a century students have been studying at the leading agricultural college in Wales, Coleg Sir Gar, Gelli Aur, near Llandeilo.

Melanie Doel takes a tour round the college and meets the staff and students learning, not just about farming, but all land-based studies offered by the college.
