All Things Considered

Snowdonia

Mountains

On All things Considered this week, (Sunday 28 September at 8.30am, repeated Wednesday 1 October at 6.30pm), Roy Jenkins visits Snowdonia, to explore something of the significance of mountains for people of faith.

It is to such wild and rugged places that men and women have resorted through the generations, to savour the spectacle, to sort out their thinking, and sometimes to look for God. Mountains feature in the stories of many of the world's great religions, and during the programme we meet those for whom the hills are part of their working lives, and also important to their own beliefs and mission.
