Having been a folk hero for over 30 years, Max Boyce has always resolutely remained true to his Welsh roots.

While superstars such as Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey have long chosen to spend their days living abroad, Max still lives in his Valleys birthplace of Glyn-Neath - among the people and places that have influenced his music so strongly.
