Amen Corner formed in south Wales in 1966, bringing together six musicians from around the area, plus vocalist Andy Fairweather-Low.
Fairweather-Low's distinctive high voice sat nicely with the pop and R&B crossover music of the band, and hit singles were forthcoming.
